IRBI Máquinas e Equipamentos Ltda., Is the successor of the "Brothers Biagi" industry that has been operating for more than 65 years in the market. The business that emerged as a repair shop for firearms and equipment in general, has become a large equipment industry for the sugar and alcohol industry and construction.
The founder of the company Mr. Alexandre Biagi, with only 17 years arrived in Araçatuba-SP in 1910, being recognized as one of the pioneers in the foundation of the city.
The beginning of this saga of entrepreneurs and industries occurred when Mr. Alexandre decided in 1926 to set up a workshop, where at the time still did not even exist: social name or records. "The day-to-day was to repair wagon wheels, windows, gasoline engine and mainly firearms," ??he recalls.
The growth of Araçatuba with the arrival of the machines to benefit coffee and cotton, also made the Biagi specialists of machines of the type.
When the "workshop" turned 20 years old (1946), Alexandre passed the command to his sons Ivo and Nilo Biagi, then 21 and 20 years old respectively, who already worked with their father. Self-educated and with great desire to increase production and billing, they set up several ceramics in the region and won new clients. From there, the "workshop" was installed in a larger warehouse and passed to call BRMS BIAGI LTDA.
In 1957, the brothers acquired new ground in Avenida Baguaçu and set up the first foundry of the Northwest Paulista, taking advantage of the good moment that the city and region lived, with the installation of major industries such as: Refrigerator T. Maia and Nestle.
With the growth of the city and region, there was a great leap in construction and IRBI began to manufacture equipment such as: concrete mixer, hoisting winches, stakes and others. It was these equipment that leveraged the development of the industry, among which are manufactured to date.
Currently, with the company's command in the hands of the third generation through Eng. Paulo Sérgio Biagi, IRBI also develops projects and equipment for the sugar and alcohol industry combined with the civil construction makes the company a reference in both sectors inside and outside Brazil.
